Program Description: Learn how to use an AED (automatic external defibrillator) and perform CPR on the adult and child. AED devices are small, simple to use, and commonplace in our community. In addition to CPR and AED use, participants learn how to help a choking victim.
Certification: A two-year certification card is issued upon successful completion. Skill testing is required.
The American Heart Association strongly promotes knowledge and proficiency in CPR and has developed instructional materials for this purpose. Use of these materials in an educational course does not represent course sponsorship by the American Heart Association, and any fees charged for such a course do not represent income to the Association.
